London Vintage Wedding Styled Shoot

London is the perfect backdrop for a Vintage Wedding Shoot so when I got the opportunity I jumped at it. Red is a colour that is strongly associated with the capital with it’s buses, telephone boxes and the queens guard and I wanted to incorporate this in the styling. Our 1950’s tea length dress I feel is the dress of the decade in terms of iconic style, where vinate has seen a renaissance. Septics say it will end, but I think it will continue to grow for the foreseeable. There is strong movement towards the 1960s set for the winter and spring season and I’m excited to see how wedding dress designers will take this influence and interpret it in the wedding dress market.

I was fortunate to be shooting very near to one of Londons best Vintage emporiums, which is an Aladins cave for all things vintage, Radio Days. We were able to find all kinds of accessories for the shoot. We shot most of the shoot on the south bank of Westminster bridge and St John’s Church Waterloo Rd. Thank you to Claudia Nallely and Tom Bowen our amazing models.
